What is The Olde English
Pocket Beagle Association?

The Olde English Pocket Beagle Association (OEPBA) is a canine registry exclusive to this particular breed. We provide pet owners and our affiliates with accurate and professional record keeping along with online services for your convenience.

For The Love of the Breed

Nice to meet you! I am Shae (Walker) Wilson, and the Olde English Pocket Beagle is a part of who I am. My late parents, Ed and Jan Walker, were part of the founding breeders when just a handful of people across the United States were working to restore this breed. My father was featured repeatedly in the “Better Beagling” magazine throughout his hunting career for his winnings and expertise. Through excellent marketing, my mother effectively raised awareness of the breed for more than 30 years. Their combined hard work and dedication has left a lasting impact on this community.

Robert Mock. The man behind the breed.

Robert Mock is the driving force behind the restoration of the Olde English Pocket Beagle. Together, with just the select few breeders across the nation, they successfully brought the breed back to its rightful place in the canine world. In 1999, Robert created The Olde English Pocket Beagle Registry to protect the breed from becoming compromised. Although he has passed on, Roberts persistence allows us to look back at pocket beagles and their breeders. He is credited for setting the foundation for pet owners and breeders alike to ensure the history of this special breed.

Carrying on the Heritage

The OEPBA proudly serves this niche community to continue the legacy of Robert and his colleagues. We honor the decades of hard work and commitment of those who came before us by implementing the same code of ethics that secures the position of the Olde English Pocket Beagle for generations to come. Our mission is to continue the integrity that Robert's diligence provided us.
